Covid-19 Protocols

The Knoxville Suzuki Academy is committed to keeping our students and faculty safe and at ease during the current pandemic.  With the vaccines readily available in Knox county, the KSA lessons are now also being taught in person in the Parson’s House at the First United Methodist Church with social distancing, masks worn by everyone, the use of hand sanitizer before and after each lesson, and a wiping down for surfaces with anti-bacterial wipes between lessons.

Some of our faculty continue to only teach online lessons, some are doing either online or in-person lessons, and some are doing a hybrid of the two modalities. We anticipate more of our teaching to be in-person as more of our population gets vaccinated and more families request in-person lessons.

Happily, we will have our first in-person KSA recitals in over a year on May 1, outside in the gazebo behind the FUMC.

Please feel free to share your concerns and preferences with us about which modality of teaching you would most like for your child. We will do all we can to accommodate your wishes with KSA lessons.
