Securing An Instrument

KSA families need to secure access to an appropriately-sized instrument for their child.

We are proud to offer premium string instruments for rent through the KSA for interested students. Rental fees include maintenance and repair protections. As your child grows, you can return it to the store and move up to the appropriate new size instrument. We offer shorter term rentals of excellent full sized instruments for parents as well. Instruments may be obtained by visiting Knoxville Fine Violins at 207 Clinch Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37902. Tell them you are part of the Knoxville Suzuki Academy.

Ideally, during the first two to three months of lessons, the parent will also have an instrument so that they can learn alongside their child. This greatly improves the parent’s ability to guide their child in their practice at home. We understand that this is not always possible but we have seen great benefits to students whose parents help them learn in this way.
