Alla Ousley was born in Ukraine and began piano at age six at the Krupskaya Music School in Cherkasy. At 14 she entered the Cherkasy Gulak-Artemovsky Music College and continued her piano education with Professor Dyachenko.
Alla completed bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music education at Gogol Pedagogical University under Oleksandr Rostovskiy. She later studied at the Specialized School of the National Honored Chapel of Bandura Players of Ukraine and the Authentic Vocal Specialized School at the Veryovka Ukrainian Folk Choir in Kyiv.
She began teaching private piano and voice in Ukraine and continued after moving to the United States. Alla has taught piano for several decades and is honored to be part of Knoxville Suzuki Academy.
She and her husband, Christian, are the parents of Scarlett and Savannah.
