Jackson Alderman began playing viola in third grade in Maryland. He earned a Bachelor of Music in music education from West Virginia University and a master’s degree in viola performance with a certificate in music theory pedagogy from the University of Tennessee.
Jackson performs with major ensembles in the region, including the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and Knoxville Opera. He has completed initial Suzuki training in violin and viola.
