Justin Harms is a pianist and educator completing a master’s degree in piano performance at the University of Tennessee. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, he began piano at age six and earned a bachelor’s degree in piano performance at Belmont University, studying with Don Marler. At Belmont, he performed Chopin’s Second Piano Concerto with the Belmont Orchestra.
Justin has taught precollege students at Nashville’s W. O. Smith Music School and has tutored students in mathematics and music theory. He describes his teaching style as encouraging, patient, and goal-oriented, with particular strengths in music theory and piano technique.
